Nω-Propyl-L-Arginine is a potent and selective inhibitor of neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS). Nω-Propyl-L-Arginine competitively inhibits bovine nNOS with a Ki of 57 nM, and 8.5 and 180 µM for eNOS (bovine) and iNOS (murine), respectively.
