1,3-Dithiolan-2-imine is one of the metabolites of Cyolane, a systemic organophosphate insecticide that is effective in larvae of all stages and is also persistent for a long period of time. Cyolane is toxic and also known to cause an asthmatic inflammatory reaction in the lungs of juvenile rats.

生产方法
2-亚氨基-1,3-二硫戊环不稳定,通常是以其复盐的形式存在。其制备方法是在有机溶剂、催化剂和水的存在下,二硫化碳、环氧乙烷与液氨在35～45℃反应,所得产物脱去溶剂,即得中间产品2-羟乙基二硫代氨基甲酸酯(即单酯)。然后在溶剂乙酸乙酯、分散剂苯和环合剂存在下,单酯异构化、内缩合脱水环化,并与酸形成复盐。
用途
2-亚氨基-1,3-二硫戊环是有机磷杀虫剂硫环磷的中间体。
